We were contacted by the Attorneys of Sechrist in response to our blog posting of May9th, 2009 that the chambers used in the Fort Lauderdale chambers were not manufactured by Sechrist. We have revised our blog to that effect.

We would like to further add to our blog post of May 9, 2009 as to the manufacturer of the chamber in the Fort Lauderdale Fire incident is still unknown. We believe there is an invetigation in process by the authorities and we will wait to see the results of the investigations.

The recent fire incident regarding the hyperbaric chamber that occurred in Florida raises some serious concerns about the safety of these chambers in the Hyperbarics industry.

Our bloggers has been scrutinizing all the hyperbaric manufaturers since this incident occurred. LAUDERDALE-BY-THE-SEA — A woman and a boy are en route to Broward General Medical Center after they were injured in an apparent explosion at a hyperbaric oxygen facility.

A Broward Sheriff’s Office helicopter is flying the child to the hospital while the adult woman is being transported by ground. The cause of the reported explosion at 4001 N. Ocean Drive was not immediately known early Friday afternoon.
